Ohgame-yama Forest Park

This park is symbolic of the town that is developing as a park town. You can not only enjoy the rich natural surroundings, but also various kinds of outdoor leisure including athletics and camping.

Children's slope
The slope, covered with artificial turf, is a highlight of this park as it allows sledding year round. There are separate courses for younger and older children.

Moshi moshi house and administration building
Because of its turtle-shape design, the recreation hall is called "Moshi moshi house" (lit. "hello" house, which comes from a famous children's song "Hello, Mr. Turtle") The head part of this building is a wooden deck which is used as a stage for events.

Nature trail
Oak trees and Japanese horse chestnut trees form a forest suitable for hiking and basking in the woods.

Observation platform
The observation platform, built in a Japanese style, matches well with the surroundings and offers a panoramic 360-degree view. You can get a perspective of the peaks of Funagata and Nanatsu-mori Forest. The glow of the sunset over the mountains is breathtaking.

Field athletics
There are 21 obstacles in an 800 meter course. Each obstacle is named after a geographical point in Tomiya
